Parks Companies began as an automotive venture in 1967, when Hubert B. Parks purchased a Chevrolet dealership franchise in Kernersville, North Carolina. At various times, all seven of Hubert’s children worked in the day-to-day operations of the business. The expansion of the enterprise into commercial real estate was a natural evolution as the automotive business acquired more dealerships.

 

When Hubert passed in 2010, his children were determined to carry forward their father’s legacy. Under the leadership of the second generation of the Parks family including Stuart, a skilled architect and international business consultant, and his brother, Adam, who runs Parks Automotive Group, the family enterprise has flourished, almost quadrupling in holdings and revenue.

 

Parks Companies now includes investments in more than 50 automotive dealerships representing 19 domestic and global brands, more than one million square feet of real estate, an extensive network of partners, 4000 employees, and more than three billion dollars in revenue.
